we were outside the library and they were talking about they’re exams “what are you thinking of doing? probably sylvia plath, been studying ariel. oh me too, also thinking of doing joyce.”
how can people find art degrees taxing i’m sorry, this is what i do with my FREE time. i find it difficult to do my degree and find the time to read about my favourite books/authors never mind being given FORCED the time to do it, i’m sorry i have no sympathy when art students moan i loved english at school i think doing it at uni would be like a DREAM but i’m sorry i wanted a job so instead HELLO energy/mass balances, thermodynamics, calculus, stadard heat reactions, equilibrium now there’s things you’d NEVER choose to do (i’m kidding i actually like it) (i wish i didn’t) (please punch me) (i actually don’t mind having to do these 2 exams this week what is actually wrong with me)

i was walking in town and as we approached the bridge the sun had lowered to a height where the road looked like it was truly golden. it was so bright it hurt to look straight at it and it was 8 o’clock at night and it had just stopped raining the road had the peculiar smell of damp and freshness and i had that sensation that nothing was real or i couldn’t hold on to reality. it was so light at night and it was so sunny despite the soaked tarmac and everyone was moving so slowly i wasn’t even high.
